SUMMARY:Baby Care Kit Donations
DESCRIPTION:Our neighbors in Ethiopia have been displaced from their homes because of ethnic conflict in the East African country.  About 5\,000 have had to leave their homes and live at an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp.  These mothers and expecting mothers need help so we are going to send baby care kits over again this year. We want to provide the basics a family needs to care for their new members.  So we are asking for these items to make up the Baby Kits to send to our neighbors across the ocean. Here is a list of items we are collecting. \nLightweight cotton T-shirts (No Onesies) \nLong –or-short sleeved gowns or sleepers (Without feet) \nSwaddling blankets (receiving)\, medium weight cotton or flannel\, or crocheted or knitted with lightweight yarn (Square 36” to 52”) \nJacket\, sweater or sweatshirt with a hood\, or include a baby cap \nSocks \nOne hand towel-dark color \nBath size bar of gentle soap \nClothes sizes 6 to 24 months are needed.  Please try to get different sizes on the clothes items so the child can grow into them.  You can drop off your items at the church office Monday through Friday 9AM- 12PM until October 10\, 2022.
