SUMMARY:Vacation Bible School
DESCRIPTION:Our Purpose: Zion matters to the community by showing the love of Jesus Christ. \nJoin us at Twists & Turns this year where we will learn that following Jesus not only changes the game\, it changes everything!   Zion’s Vacation Bible School is June 26th – 30th\, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday\, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday.  At Twists & Turns VBS\, your children will enjoy an interactive\, energizing\, Bible-based week as they learn that Jesus guides us through all of the twists and turns of our lives. They will discover that even when they mess up\, it is never "game over" with Jesus! \n  \nThis year’s program is designed for children ages 4 through those who have completed 5th grade\, and remains FREE to all participants because of your continued support.  Registrations will be accepted on a first come\, first serve basis with a maximum of 50 children. Activities will include Bible study\, games\, crafting\, singing\, outdoor activities and community service.  Snacks will also be provided for the children Monday through Thursday\, and we will provide pizza for lunch on Friday. \n  \nFor your convenience\, a registration form is included.  Please return the completed form by Thursday\, June 22nd to help us plan for the appropriate class sizes and numbers. Registrations will be accepted during the week of VBS only if space is available. \n  \nEach child must be picked up by a parent or alternate person that you have designated on the registration form\, regardless of the child’s age.  We also ask that your child wear tennis shoes\, or shoes with enclosed toes every day for safety reasons. \nTwit & Turns Highlights: \n\nMonday\, June 26th: The twist and turns begin! Quilt Square Creation begins today!\nTuesday\, June 27th: Special Guests\, Jackie Godbey from Stark County Humane Society & some furry friends\nThursday\, June 29th: Twists & Turns Water Fun and Games Day (weather permitting) – swim suits & sunscreen and the Kona Ice Truck will be here\nFriday\, June 30th: Twists & Turns Celebration – outdoor games & activities and our Music Program at 12:00 pm followed by pizza and ice cream.\n\nAttached is a flyer about this year’s community service projects.  There will be special service projects throughout the week at Zion and for the kids to do at home. \n  \nPlease feel free to call the church office at (330)499-3909 with any questions you might have.  Thank you for sharing your child with us for a week of fun\, friendship\, learning\, service and God’s Love! \nGod’s Blessings\,\nDebbie Fox\, VBS Chair \nVBS Registration form \nInformation Packet 2023
