SUMMARY:Vacation Bible Adventure 2024
DESCRIPTION:Our Purpose: Zion matters to the community by showing the love of Jesus Christ. \nJoin us in God's BIG Backyard this year where we will be serving Jesus and having a blast! Zion's \nVacation Bible Adventure is June 24th — 28th from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday\, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday. In God's BIG Backyard\, your children will enjoy an interactive and Biblebased week full of service as they learn all about serving others and Jesus! \nOur program is designed for children ages 4 through those who have completed 5th grade\, and remains FREE to all participants because of your continued support. Registrations will be accepted on a first come\, first serve basis with a maximum of 50 children. Activities will include Bible study\, games\, crafting\, singing\, outdoor activities and community service. Snacks will also be provided for the children Monday through Thursday\, and we will provide pizza for lunch on Friday. \nFor your convenience\, a registration form is included. Please return the completed form by Thursday\, June 20th to help us plan for the appropriate class sizes and numbers. Registrations will be accepted during the week of VBA only if space is available. \nEach child must be picked up by a parent or alternate person that you have designated on the registration form\, regardless of the child's age. We also ask that your child wear tennis shoes\, or shoes with enclosed toes every day for safety reasons. \nGod's BIG Backyard Highlights: \nMonday\, June 24th : Our adventure begins in God's BIG Backyard! Quilt Square creation today! \nTuesday\, June 25th : Scavenger Hunt in God's BIG Backyard \nWednesday\, June 26th : Lydia Brooks from Habitat from Humanity will join us! \nThursday\, June 27th : God's BIG Backyard Water Fun Day (weather permitting) — swim suits & sunscreen and the Kona Ice Truck will be here at noon. \nFriday\, June 28th : God's BIG Backyard Celebration — outdoor games & activities and our Music Program at 12:00 pm followed by pizza and ice cream. \nAttached is a flyer about this year's community service projects.
