Please wear what makes you comfortable\, and as our Pastor says: "Just be sure to wear clothes!"\nYou can enter from the canopied door on the west side\, entering from Portage St.\, offers ground-level entry and offers plenty of parking. The canopied entryway on the Lindy Lane Ave. side has stairs and a ramp\, and is closest to the worship space\, it offers limited parking. There are handicap parking spaces at all entrances.\nWe believe that children bring life to our services - noises and all. We are thankful that parents bring their children to worship\, and we believe that it is important to teach children the practice of worship.\nAll Children are encouraged to come forward for a children's sermon and a blessing during communion.\nA staffed child care room is available during the Sunday 9:00AM service\, and is located at the end of the hallway to the left of the worship space.\nAn usher will provide a bulletin prior to entering the worship space. The bulletin includes a detailed outline of the service and Newspage that features upcoming events. The canopied entryway on the Lindy Lane Ave. side has stairs and a ramp\, and is closest to the worship space\, it offers limited parking. There are handicap parking spaces at all entrances.\nWe believe that children bring life to our services - noises and all. We are thankful that parents bring their children to worship\, and we believe that it is important to teach children the practice of worship.\nAll Children are encouraged to come forward for a children's sermon and a blessing during communion.\nA staffed child care room is available during the Sunday 9:00AM service\, and is located at the end of the hallway to the left of the worship space.\nAn usher will provide a bulletin prior to entering the worship space. The bulletin includes a detailed outline of the service and Newspage that features upcoming events. There are also hymnals in each pew.\nWe practice an open table; those who commune at other Christian churches are welcomed and encouraged to participate.\n\nWe use individual cups; offering both wine and grape juice (the light colored cup)\nGluten-free wafers are available; just let Pastor know when you come forward\, they are readily available.\nWe gladly bring communion to you in your seat if that is easier for your mobility.

SUMMARY:Vacation Bible School
DESCRIPTION:Our Purpose: Zion matters to the community by showing the love of Jesus Christ. \nJoin us at the Food Truck Party this year where we will be on a roll with God at Zion’s Vacation Bible School\, June 27th – July 1st\, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday\, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Friday. At our Food Truck Party VBS\, your children will enjoy an interactive\, energizing\, Bible-based good time as they get on a roll with God. They will discover how we can turn to God in prayer every day to meet our needs and how we can join God in providing for the needs of others. There will be lessons that reveal Daily Specials to equip your Chefs for an active life with God\, music\, games\, snacks\, crafts and service projects of course. \nThis year’s program is designed for children age 4 through those who have completed 5th grade\, and remains FREE to all participants because of your continued support. Registrations will be accepted on a first come\, first serve basis with a maximum of 50 children. Activities will include Bible study\, games\, crafting\, singing\, outdoor activities and community service. Snacks will also be provided for the children Monday through Thursday\, and we will provide pizza for lunch on Friday. \nFor your convenience\, a registration form is included. Please return the completed form by Thursday\, June 23rd to help us plan for the appropriate class sizes and numbers. We will also have a copy of this year’s music CD for you when you return your completed form! Registrations will be accepted during the week of VBS only if space is available. \nEach child must be picked up by a parent or alternate person that you have designated on the registration form\, regardless of the child’s age. We also ask that your child wear tennis shoes\, or shoes with enclosed toes every day for safety reasons. \nFood Truck Party Highlights: \n\nMonday\, June 27th: Our party begins!\nTuesday\, June 28th: Special Guest\, Stephanie Sweany\, from Stark County Hunger Task Force\nAnd the Kona Ice Truck Here at 12:30pm\nThursday\, June 30th: Food Truck Party Water Fun Day (weather permitting) – swim suits &\nSunscreen and the Sugar Surge Food Truck will be here\nFriday\, July 1st: Our Food Truck Party Celebration – carnival games and a short Music Program\nat 12:00pm followed by pizza and ice cream.\n\nAttached is a flyer about this year’s community service projects.
