What this means to us:

We believe all people are beloved children of God. It is our desire to do God’s work in this community so that the community will come to believe they are part of this truth as well. Jesus commands his disciples to go into the community; feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, caring for the sick, and visiting the imprisoned (Matthew 25:35-36.) Basically, Jesus commands us to make a difference in the lives of others. Recognizing God’s blessing upon us, we endeavor to be a blessing to others.
