2nd Sunday after Epiphany (John 1:29-42)
Gospel Message from Pastor William
In today’s gospel we hear of how Jesus invited his first disciples to “come and see.” He knew that by witnessing what he was going to do, they would witness to others. They saw his compassion first-hand. They saw his concern for the marginalized. They saw him striving for the good of all. They saw him willing to give his life for others. Eventually, they not only witnessed to others, but they emulated Jesus the rest of their lives.
