6th Sunday of Easter (John 14:15-21)
Gospel Message from Pastor William
Jesus said that he knows who really loves him; they are the ones who keep his commandments (verse 21). Ouch! Sometimes we don’t do such a good job of loving our enemies – among other commandments we fail to keep. Does that mean we don’t love Jesus? Well, maybe in those moments, we love ourselves more than we love Jesus. If that were not true, we would actually love as we are first loved by Jesus – completely and in a servant way.
