6th Sunday of Easter (John 14:23-29)
Gospel Message from Pastor William.
Jesus is not a stand-alone God. He is in the Father, and the Father is in him, and together they make their home with us (v23). Also intricately connected to Father and Son, is the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus promised will be sent to those who love Jesus so we can be taught and reminded of what Jesus said and did (v26). This inter-dependent God, longs for us to know and experience God’s love, and for us to live in peace – a peace where our hearts are freed from burden, fear and worry so that we can love as God first loved us.
