Luke 10:1-11, 16-20

7/03/22

4th Sunday after Pentecost (Luke 10:1-11, 16-20)

Gospel Message from Pastor William.

Jesus told the disciples that for those towns that did not welcome them they should wipe away the dust that clings to their feet. We, modern day disciples, tend to focus on this act of rejection without noticing Jesus’ call to actually go into neighboring towns to pronounce the coming of God’s kingdom. We must first get our feet dirty going to our neighbors before we are concerned with their rejecting us. Afterall, Jesus did say that some would welcome the word of God. Now, get busy going and telling.
