8th Sunday after Pentecost (Luke 12:13-21)
Gospel Message from Pastor William.
In this parable of the rich man, Jesus talks about everyone’s favorite sermon topic – money. But, perhaps it is not about money. Perhaps it is about trust, or rather, in whom one trusts. Here in the USA our money is imprinted with; In God we Trust. But do we really? Do we lovingly, freely, and excitedly give of our time and money to the work of God’s mission of building up others? Do we willingly and enthusiastically serve in church leadership? Do we get as excited about church as we do about ball games? Your actions demonstrate in whom you really trust.
