1st Sunday of Advent (Luke 1:5-38)
Gospel Message from Pastor William.
In this first week of Advent, we hear about the annunciation from the angel Gabriel to both Zechariah and Mary. The angel tells these soon-to-be parents the name they are to give their sons; John, meaning The Lord is kind; and Jesus, meaning The Lord saves. Their names are appropriate for the work they will do during their short lives. What name might be given to describe the work you do? Is it a reflection of God’s goodness?
