Luke 24:13-35

04/23/23

3rd Sunday of Easter (Luke 24:13-35)

Gospel Message from Pastor William

It’s the day of Jesus’ resurrection. Two of his disciples didn’t believe what the women told them, they didn’t believe what the other disciples told them, they just couldn’t get over their disappointment that Jesus didn’t save them the way they wanted to be saved. Jesus had told them all this would happen; they just couldn’t see past their own hopes and desires. Jesus calls them foolish and slow to learn. Thanks be to God, that Jesus is just as patient with us as we learn about God’s Way.
