7th Sunday after Epiphany (Luke 6:27-38)
Gospel Message from Pastor William.
Jesus says that anyone can love someone who loves them, or be good to someone who is good to them, but the sign of his follower is loving those who treat us badly or don’t like us. Ouch! Couldn’t you ask us for something easier, Jesus? In a word; no. Jesus says love is action; doing good for enemies – loving them not from afar, but up close and personal. That is the mark of a Christian.
