2nd Sunday after Pentecost (Luke 8:26-39)
Gospel Message from Pastor William.
Jesus goes to Greek territory and chaos ensues. He heals a man controlled by many demons and the local people are not happy. They were comfortable in the life they were leading and were afraid of the change Jesus tried to bring. Fear of change affects us too. We steer away from where Jesus wants us to go and we avoid the difficult work Jesus wants us to do – we just want to be comfortable. But, Jesus wants more for us and from us. Christianity is not for wimps.
