Transfiguration Sunday (Luke 9:28-36)

Gospel Message from Pastor William.

While Jesus is praying things happen; the appearance of his face changes and his clothes becomes dazzling white (vv28-29.) Every time Jesus prays something happens: heaven opens and the Holy Spirit descends on him (Luke 3:21-22), disciples are chosen (Luke 6:12-16), and Peter declares him The Messiah (Luke 9:18-20); to name a few. Prayer is connecting with God, and in that connection things happen. God desires us to seek him with our whole heart and a good way to do that is to reach out in prayer. Reach out and be ready to be amazed.
