Jesus eats with sinners – oh my! Doesn’t he know God doesn’t like sinners? Well, actually, Jesus loves sinners – loves them to death. Jesus goes to where sinners gather, eats with them, and demonstrates the love and compassion of God. Jesus doesn’t wait for them to come to him, he goes to them. Why do we Christians wait for people to come into our churches? Why aren’t we going to the unchurched? Why aren’t we showing them the love and compassion of Jesus?
