Psalm 31:1-5, 15-16

5th Sunday of Easter

Psalm 31:1-5, 15-16 paraphrased by Pastor William

Oh Lord, I seek shelter in you;

        keep me safe and secure.

Listen to my plea;

        save me now.

Be my strong foundation,

        a wall of protection around me.

You are my safe place;

        you are the only one I can trust,

I’m all alone out here,

        you are the only one on my side.

My life is in your hands;

        only you can save me,

        only you can protect me.

You’ve got the whole world in your hands;

        keep me safely in your hands too.

Burn your image on my face,

        let all see your love reflected on me.
