Oh, how I long to follow your instructions;

        your words unfurl in my heart

        like a wind-blown flag.

My breath is taken away by your love;

        your fondness for me is overwhelming.

Remain at my side, guiding my life;

        Lift me above the anxiety of this world.

Protect me from those who spread hatred;

        light up my face with your presence.

Let others see the joy I have in following you;

        let them see it and turn to follow you.
