Second Sunday in Lent

Psalm 121, paraphrased by Pastor William

I look for it, look far and wide;

        where is my help?

There it is; help comes from God,

        who made everything!

God will keep you from tripping;

        God watches through the night.

God keeps watch over us all,

        never sleeping or dozing off.

The Lord is your caretaker,

        at your side to guard you.

Sheltering you in the blazing sun,

        covering you in the moonlight.

The Lord guards you from all evil;

        keeping your life in safe hands.

The Lord watches over your coming,

        and your going,

        now and forever!
