LORD, I really need you, now!

            Open your ears to hear me.

If you kept track of all I did wrong, I’d be toast.

            Instead, you are addicted to forgiveness.

I’m at my wits end,

            I’m so alone and afraid.

God with us, you say!

            Come be with me now!

Your reliable love will see me through.

            Hold me in your arms.
