Psalm 138

From the depths of my heart;

thank you, God.

You are the most important thing to me;

        I put you first in my life.

Your love means so much to me;

        it nourishes and sustains me.

May all the rulers and leaders follow you;

        their mouths be full of your praise.

May they follow your commands;

        to serve and love their people.

Though I encounter anxiety and distress;

        you are by my side.

You are always there for me;

        continue to strengthen me;

        you made me, now please guide me.
