Psalm 25:1-10

07/10/22

5th Sunday after Pentecost

Psalm 25:1-10, paraphrased by Pastor William

My heart and soul belong to you, O God.

I rely upon you; for your support;

          for your guidance;

          stand beside me and hold me up.

Because I’m devoted to you people mock me;

          but it is they who should be ashamed.

Give me the map to your way;

          walk alongside me,

          catch me when I stumble.

In my youth I made mistakes,

even today I continue to be imperfect;

choose to not remember my faults.

Your outlandish love for me

nourishes my soul.

Mold me and shape me, Lord.

Your way is love and truthfulness,

          we are honored to follow your way.
