Psalm 26:1-8

Deliver me, O Lord,

        I have been faithful to you,

without wavering.

Test me, and see;

        test my heart and mind.

I always look to you,

        always walk in your ways.

I do not align with the ungodly,

        or with those who mock you.

I stay away from evildoers,

        and don’t worship their gods.

I am cleansed in your righteousness,

        I come to you with open arms.

Every day I sing of your goodness,

        tell of your magnificent deeds.

Your kingdom is magnificent,

        your ways are my ways.
