Baptism of Our Lord

Psalm 29, paraphrased by Pastor William

Let’s give credit where credit is due;

we can’t live with you Lord.

You speak and the world reacts;

        the seas are calm,

        the winds slow down,

        the earth is still.

Your voice booms across the earth;

        the mountains rumble,

        the trees shudder,

        the sands ripple.   

The sound of your voice brings joy;

        the animals hear it,

they sing out,

they frolic and play.

Your power flows through us;

        you give us life,

        you give us strength,

        you claim us as your own.
