Christ the King Sunday

Psalm 46, paraphrased by Pastor William

With God, there is nothing to fear;

even if the earth shakes,

or the winds howl,

or the seas rise;

for God is with us.

Those who don’t know God are in trouble;

they stumble and fall,

they stir up fear and hatred,

they care only about themselves;

for they neglect and ignore God.

Notice the good God is doing all around;

life is renewed,

trees are planted,

hatred becomes love,

fear turns into joy;

for God desires excellence for us.

God is our king, our ruler, our guide;

For we reside with God.
