I seek you, O Lord, with all my heart;

            I need your help and guidance.

Rescue me from my troubles;

            hear my appeal for mercy.

Be my strong rock;

            my secure foundation.

The wicked are after me;

            they long to do me harm.

But, my hope is in you;

            I trust you with my life.

Even in my mother’s womb;

            you were with me.

I sing of your wondrous love;

            of your peaceful presence.
