Psalm 86:11-17

Paraphrased by Pastor William

O Lord, teach me, guide me;

        keep me from getting distracted.

My heart belongs to you;

        I will sing to you as long as I live.

Your love for me is boundless;

        it lifts me out of the depths of despair.

O Lord, it seems the world is against me;

        it is those who have no use for you.

But you are a God of mercy and grace;

        you hold your temper,

        your love is endless

        you are faithful to us.

I’m struggling and need your help;

        give me strength to endure.

Give a sign that you hear me;

        so that those who scoff may see it,

        may wither in shame,

may see that you are for me.
