3^rd Sunday of Advent

Psalm 89:1-4, 19-29, paraphrased by Pastor William

Lord, you are so awesome!

            I’m telling everyone I know.

Your love is forever and without condition!

            A guarantee without fail.

You always say we can trust you,

            you have proven worthy.

You are the Lord of our ancestors,

            farther back than we can trace.

Ages ago, you spoke the truth;

            you established a kingdom on earth.

You set your servants in charge;

            nobody will overpower them.

You sent leaders who lead us to follow you;

            your kings pointed the way.

Eventually, you sent The Way;

            so we could see you with us.

Come, O Come, Emmanuel

            God with us – now and forever!
