Stewardship Moment - 1st Sunday in Lent

1st Sunday in Lent – Luke 4:1-13

Stewardship Moment from Pastor William

Stewardship in the Gospel

Jesus spans the chasm between God and humanity. He reconnects us with God and welcomes us into the presence of God in God’s realm.

Stewardship in our community

God’s realm is not some far away land, it is here and now. We pray this in the Lord’s Prayer; thy kingdom come, they will be done. If the focus of our community was on God’s way and will, things would be different for sure.

Stewardship in practice

We have a responsibility to be part of God’s kingdom come and God’s will be done. Do your thoughts and actions reflect God’s will, or your will? Stop trying to make things happen; instead ask God to guide your actions as God sees fit. Pray that God will guide your thoughts, desires and actions. You will be amazed at how your life, and the life of those around you, is changed.
