Stewardship Moment - 3rd Sunday after Pentecost

Matthew 9:35-10:8

Stewardship Moment from Pastor William

Stewardship in the Gospel

Jesus sends the twelve disciples to go amongst the people and proclaim the good news of God’s kingdom. What does that look like? Look around and see the abundance of God; sunshine, growing plants, chirping birds, frolicking squirrels, rain that refreshes and revitalizes. Good news indeed!

Stewardship in our community

God’s kingdom is a world focused on doing God’s will; caring for others, encouraging one another, speaking up against abusive behavior, and using our talents for the common good. Our community needs to be this kind of kingdom.

Stewardship in practice

Observe one aspect of God’s abundance in your life, and share it with someone in need – in need of a smile, in need of knowing they are special, in need of seeing God’s abundance around them too. Point it out by leading a life focused on what God is doing for you. Then share it.
