Stewardship in the Gospel
In today’s Gospel, an angel of the Lord comes to shepherds with a message of “good news of great joy for all the people.” God is giving the greatest gift; God with us.
Stewardship in our community
The shepherds were trusted to share the good news with the people – and so they did! There are people in our community who need to hear this good news. Will we wait for them to come to us, or will we be like the shepherds, returning and glorifying and praising God for all God has done?
Stewardship in practice
The joy promised by the angels is for all the people. Don’t limit sharing the joy of Christmas with just your friends and family. Share the joy with those who are easily overlooked; store clerks, custodians, delivery people, public service people, and maybe even with that rude person who just cut you off in traffic.
