Stewardship Moment - 4th Sunday of Easter

4th Sunday of Easter – John 10:22-30

Stewardship Moment from Pastor William

Stewardship in the Gospel

Jesus is asked if he is the Messiah. He responds that the inquirers don’t believe he is, and are not part of his flock who follow him. “What my father has given me is greater than all else.” Indeed, God has given life, and given it abundantly. God works throughout time and place to gather all his sheep into the flock.

Stewardship in our community

Society gives us plenty of opportunity for identity and belonging. Sports teams, benevolent organizations, neighborhood associations, school affinity groups…the list is endless. But God, our creator, has been working since the beginning to get us to hear God’s voice and to follow.

Stewardship in practice

Jesus is God’s latest attempt to get us to hear God calling us to belong to the one thing that really matters; to the one thing that gives us life. Listen, God is calling, offering forgiveness, comfort and joy. Be part of it!
