Stewardship in the Gospel
Jesus teaches that to be part of God’s kingdom means to do good works and let our light shine so glory is given to God.
Stewardship in our community
Many people in our community do good works. Some are so proud that they put their names on buildings and plaques so they get the glory for doing so much good. Jesus says our good works should give glory to God.
Stewardship in practice
Who gets the credit when you do good works? Do people see God in action, or you? When you are thanked for your good works do you graciously accept it, giving God the glory? Make certain the name is spelled right on all acknowledgements of your good work, it is spelled: God.
