Stewardship Moment - 6th Sunday after Pentecost

Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30

Stewardship Moment from Pastor William

Stewardship in the Gospel

Jesus tells us to yoke ourselves to him to do the work of the Father. For Jesus will be the strong lead and guide us on the path the Father wants worked. The kingdom of God gets worked by God the Father, Son and Spirit, but they need our help.

Stewardship in our community

Community is a field with plenty of kingdom work to be done. So many people do not know the love of God, the acceptance of God, or the forgiveness of God. God is busy working in our community, but needs our help.

Stewardship in practice

We are called to walk alongside Jesus, to go where he goes – to the unprivileged, to the weak, to the forgotten, to the oppressed. Jesus will meet you there to guide you and help pull the load. Just show up; at food pantry, at church community events, and at work, play, and civil events where you can demonstrate God’s love, acceptance and forgiveness. God needs our help.
