Stewardship Moment - 7th Sunday of Easter

7th Sunday of Easter – John 17:1-11

Stewardship Moment from Pastor William

Stewardship in the Gospel

Jesus prayed that we would be one, like he and his Holy Father are one. One in love and mutual support of each other. For they complete each other. They care for that which they created.

Stewardship in our community

God created everything and commanded us to care for it. Our community would be paradise if we treated it as the special creation of God’s that it is. That’s not your neighbor’s yard, it’s God’s. That’s not a store parking lot, it’s God’s. It’s not your stuff to do as you will, it’s God’s.

Stewardship in practice

Just as you care for your home, yard, and stuff, care for all of God’s creation in the same manner. See garbage? Pick it up. See something out of place? Put it where it belongs. See something in need of attention? Do something about it. In this way, you will be a true steward, and part of returning God’s creation into paradise.
