Stewardship in the Gospel

Jesus declares that the truth will set us free. The truth is that God loves you unconditionally. This love is for everyone. What shall we do with this truth? We are called to steward it properly; accept it, cherish it, spread it around, and encourage one another with it.

Stewardship in our community

Unconditional love is lacking in society. Social media, news media and personal conversations are full of hate, divisiveness, criticism and vengeance. Jesus’ love is needed now, more than ever. And we are called to spread it.

Stewardship in practice

Instead of bemoaning hurtful and harmful societal behavior, we might consider that these people need more exposure to Jesus’ kind of love. Give them a genuine smile and a kind word. Let them see the love of Jesus shining through you. Let them know the truth that they, too, are loved by God.
