Stewardship in the Gospel

At Jesus’ transfiguration, God speaks from a bright cloud; This is my son, listen to him! Wow! If Jesus being transfigured didn’t get our attention, maybe God speaking will do it.

Stewardship in our community

Why would God want us to listen to Jesus? Perhaps Jesus telling us to love God with our whole heart, soul and mind is important. Perhaps Jesus telling us to love our neighbor as ourself is important. Perhaps Jesus telling us to love one another as he first loved us is important.

Stewardship in practice

Let us listen to Jesus as God commanded. Let us transform our actions and thoughts into absolute love for family, friend, neighbor and, wait for it, enemy! This week, seek to act in this absolute love. It will change you, change them, and change the world!
