Worship is the word used to describe our time together on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 and Sunday mornings at 9:00. We gather together to pray, sing, give thanks, hear God’s word as expressed in the Holy Bible and the sermon, and receive God’s grace in the body and blood of Christ (Holy Communion.)
Worship is a time of recognizing God’s love for us, grace for us, and abundant giving to us. It is a time when we stand together in unity as beloved children of God who proclaim that all humans are created by God in our unique forms, and all are loved equally just as we are.
We profess that we are called to build each other up, support one another in our suffering and sorrow, and encourage one another in Christian love that does not judge.
Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another (Hebrews 10:24-25.)
